Diana Moore
Senior Education Analyst
Diana is the Senior Policy Analyst for Education Reform and director of the Freedom Foundation’s iLearn Project. A former middle school Humanities teacher, Diana taught on the south side of Seattle where she developed two primary text-based interdisciplinary humanities curricula. Diana graduated from Hillsdale College with a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in French, as well as secondary teaching credentials in both. Departing from her emphasis on American History, she spent a summer term studying British History at Oxford University as well as a term of language training at LInstitut de Touraine in Frances Loire Valley.
Diana is the author of Online Learning 101: A Guide to Virtual Public Education in Washington and co-author of Education 2.0: A Catalog of Innovation. She is a regular contributor to Living Liberty, the Freedom Foundation’s monthly publication. She blogs on LibertyLive.org and iLearnProject.com and has been published in a number of in-state and out-of-state newspapers. Diana has appeared as a guest on more than a dozen talk radio shows across the country.
Diana enjoys traveling throughout Washington state and talking to families about the importance of choices in public education and the future of educational technology. She lives in Vancouver, WA with her husband Greg.
