New open government podcast - OG Pod

A new podcast covering open government issues in Washington—“OG Pod”— is now available online. OG Pod will offer practical advice to individuals seeking public records or attending government meetings. The weekly show will review court decisions, legislative developments, and news stories related to government transparency. OG Pod is hosted by the Freedom Foundation, and Greg Overstreet, a principal of Allied Law Group, a firm that specializes in open government litigation.

This podcast is a resource for people who seek to hold their government officials accountable. We’ll discuss real examples of agencies that do it right, individuals who have used open government to improve their communities, and we’ll give practical “how-to” tips for navigating the Public Records Act and the Open Public Meetings Act.
