The simplest way to make a gift of stock is to contact your broker and electronically transfer the stock from your account to our account at Charles Schwab.

Steps:

1. Call the Freedom Foundation at 800-769-6617 to let us know that you would like to make a gift of stock.
 
2. Provide your name, your phone number, the name of the stock you are giving, and the number and type of shares you are transferring (e.g. 20 shares of Microsoft). It is important we have this information so we can verify the transfer was completed and credit you with your tax-deductible donation.
 
3. Call your broker with the information below and ask your broker to make the transfer to our account at Edward Jones.

It is preferable to transfer stock electronically. However, if you want to send the Freedom Foundation a stock certificate, please follow these steps:

1. Endorse the stock certificate.
 
2. Sign a Stock Power form. (This form is available from most banks or brokers, or by calling the Freedom Foundation at 800-769-6617.)
 
3. Mail the stock certificate and the stock power separately to:
